a. Rifle/Archery Black Bear Hunt (2) Bears
$2599.00
b. Rifle/Archery Black Bear Hunt (1) Bear
$1699.00
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SHOOT 2 BEARS AT THIS PRICE $2599
The Alberta Outfitters "two tag" hunters have averaged more then a 180% shooting rate over the last 5 five years. This is one of the highest in the province. We've managed this by: regulating the number of hunters we take, using fresh quality bait hauled to the hunting area in our own 28 ft reefer trailer, setting strategically located baits, and by insuring that our guides know the area we hunt. Our past success rates speak for themselves and when compared to the possibly less than 50% hunter success in other eastern provinces/states, it's easy to see that Alberta is the place to be for fantastic bear hunting.
Our area has one of the highest trophy bear populations in North America with about 40 to 45% being color phased. Light hunting pressure allows us to produce a higher percentage of larger, older boars for our hunters. This is representative of a mature population. Bears are so plentiful here that each hunter is allowed two tags.
THE HUNTS
BAIT HUNTING We use beavers, butcher scraps, bakery scraps, restaurant grease, oats & molasses for bait and it's hauled to site and stored in a 28 ft reefer semi trailer. Our baits are set when there's still snow on the ground, several weeks prior to your arrival. Maintained regularly they become the bears primary food source. Baits are accessible by either four-wheel drive trucks, all-terrain vehicles or jet boat. As nocturnal animals, bears are hunted primarily in the evening. Hunters are taken to active bait sites in the late afternoon. Portable tree stands are the preferred method in our area. They are 12 to 15 feet up and 15 to 20 yards from the bait. We are quite far north and the sun sets late. We are normally finished hunting by 10:30 p.m. and out of the bush by midnight.
BAG LIMIT/LICENSES
The limit is two (2) bears, each tag is purchased on top of the $2599. Your second tag can be purchased optionally at anytime during your hunt or at a discounted price prior to arrival.
LOCATION
Our bait hunting area is located near the remote town of High Level in the beautiful boreal forest area of northwestern Alberta (WMU 534, 534, and 536). We spot and stalk hunt in none baiting areas (WMU 537, 342 and 346).

MOOSE HUNTING
We do the bulk of our Moose hunting in November and hunting is excellent . The moose have finished rutting and are concentrated in tamarack muskegs. A light snow is common at this time, and trophy bulls are easy to spot and tracks easy to find. Our area has excellent access with many oil / logging roads and countless miles of cutlines. We use four-wheel drive and all-terrain vehicles extensively. We normally invest entire days spotting cutlines, looking for high moose concentrations, or running moose pushes.
MOOSE STATISTICS
Our 6 day 1 on 1 rifle moose hunters traditionally come very close to a 100% success rate on opportunities. We’ll work hard to make it happen again next year. Our primary area has high moose densities, controlled resident moose hunter numbers, much better access, and many areas have Bowhunting only during the rut. .
LOCATION
Our primary hunting area is located a short 2 hour drive west of the Edmonton International Airport, near the town of Edson in the beautiful foothills, agricultural fringe area of west central Alberta. Our hunting areas have some of the highest moose densities in the province and a large percentage of provinces larger Whitetails come from some of the WMU’s that we hunt. Other advantages of our area include: easier / more cost effective travel arrangements for our hunters, excellent access, controlled resident numbers and Bowhunting only during the rut. We hunt the best area in Alberta for moose and an area that has excellent whitetail numbers.
WHITETAIL DEER
Alberta is famous for its great deer hunting and its giant trophy bucks. Our area is full of large whitetail bucks. The whitetails go into rut late in November. This is when we produce the largest Alberta giants for our rifle hunting clients. We hunt the boreal forest fringe area were the mature bucks get a chance to grow because of the abundance of security cover. We put our dedicated hunters onto stands to watch travel corridors and scraplines. Few things can match the excitement of having a giant Alberta buck in your sights.
THE HUNTS
Whitetail hunting is excellent during the rut. The bucks are moving around a lot looking for receptive does. A light snow is common at this time, and trophy bucks are easier to find. We invest a considerable amount of time hunting from ground blinds and tree stands. Few things that can match watching a buck work his scrape line in your direction and into range or coming in to check out his territory after hearing your guide rattle. Our area has excellent access with many oil / logging roads and countless miles of cutlines. We use four-wheel drive and all-terrain vehicles extensively. We normally invest entire days on stand, rattling, spotting cutlines, or even occasionally pushing bush.
LOCATION
Our Whitetail hunting area is located a short 2 hours drive west of the Edmonton International airport, near the town of Edson in the beautiful foothills, agricultural fringe area of west central Alberta. We hunt the forested farm fringe area where the big bucks are.

Spring or fall
$2399.00
Our Spring/fall bear hunts are a 6 day hunt with meals lodging, transportation to and from stand included in the price, we use bait to attract Black bears. Most hunts are done on tree stands.
Newfoundland black bear hunters are almost assured of a quality hunt. A great deal of the Newfoundland black bear hunting guides and outfitters' business is the result of repeat customers who have experienced first hand the magic of a Newfoundland black bear hunting experience. Not only are there a lot of black bears in the province, making bear sightings a thing of regularity, there is also the trophy quality of bear harvested to be taken into consideration. Most of the Newfoundland Black Bear Hunting Trips are done in the Spring when their coats are at their fullest and prior to the time in which they begin to rub the fur off their hides. Even the so called experts are not certain as to why the Newfoundland black bear gets so large. There are theories that indicate that because the Newfoundland black bear feeds so readily on both moose and caribou calves that the extra protein intake is the cause. For whatever reason, while hunting black bear in Newfoundland hunter’s average bears harvested 30 to 50 percent larger than the bears in other parts of Canada and Alaska. The province of Newfoundland has both a spring black bear hunting season and fall black bear hunting season and baiting is allowed during each. There are also 'spot and stalk' hunts available each season and with the large population Newfoundland black bear hunting trips are some of the finest found

The Rifle/archery hunt is a 5 day hunt with meals lodging, transportation to and from stand included in the price. Black Bears are widely distributed throughout New Brunswick however there are some relatively "untapped" regions where the population is higher, these are where we hunt, for both spring and fall seasons. We have eleven hunting sectors 10 to 30 miles apart. Each sector has 3 to 5 bait sites with a distance 2 to 3 miles apart as the crow flies. Our baits are hunted using metal 300 lb. ladder stands with a 500 lb capacity. We have some wooden platform and ladder stands, also Climber stands. Hunters may bring their own climber - we will have a tree ready for climbing at the bait site. Hunters are transported to their stand and picked up by their guide with his vehicle within a short walking distance. Your Guide will remain in the area at rifle shot hearing distance or FRS radio range for rifle or Bow hunters during the hunt. We do not track wounded animals after legal shooting time. We will resume tracking at legal time the next day. Every hunter will be picked up at his or her stand and transported back to camp.
My outfitter also offers Moose hunts. His Moose hunts have a near 100% opp on bull Moose, though you have to enter the New Brunswick Moose lottery system, a non resident has a 1-15 chance of getting drawn. The odds are pretty good. This is a 7 day cougar hunt with meals, lodging and a 1x1 guide included in the price, naturally, with the good populations of ungulates, comes a healthy number of cougar, lynx, bobcat and wolf. We are located near a world-class ski resort. The resort's owners chose the area based on its excellent snow conditions — and thanks to these conditions, we usually have no shortage of fresh snow on these hunts. This is a true blessing for the predator hunter, as it helps in quickly sorting out which trails are hot. We try to limit our take to mature males. When hunting these predators, we generally use truck and snowmobile to locate a fresh track, and then use a team of seasoned hounds for undertaking the chase. Some of these predators will travel a significant distance, so it is important to be in great shape before embarking on one of these hunts.
